VU

Description

VU is a pair of classic needle VU meters for the left and right channels. The ballistics follow the IEC 60268-17 standard, so the needle rises to 99% in 300 ms with a slight overshoot, exactly like a real moving coil meter. Right-click a meter to choose the 0 VU reference level, from -24 to -8 dBFS, to suit tracking, mixing or finished masters. A peak indicator lights when the signal reaches 0 dBFS.
